TURIN, Italy – Pininfarina’s new dream car headed for unveiling at the Geneva auto show next week is a tribute to the late, legendary Sergio Pininfarina, son of the coachbuilder’s founder and a driving force behind the design of several iconic Ferraris.

Called the Pininfarina Sergio, the show car is the work of Fabio Filippini, the styling house’s director of design, and has been signed-off by Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori and Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo.

In Geneva, show visitors may not be allowed to look in the rear bay to view the engine, but the car is indeed fully operational.
