Raven Engineering of Oxford, MI, and C&M Robotics of Seoul, South Korea, announce a joint venture that will focus on expanding C&M’s press technology throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The press technology line features C&M’s Center Master self-alignment devices used for overcoming center-positioning errors.  The line also includes a variety of servo press options with an intuitive in-house software package, Raven says in a statement.

As the automation and assembly markets grow, so does the demand for press equipment in various applications. With an expansive footprint of press equipment in the Asian market already, and with Raven’s strong presence in North America, the partnership is poised to build on its existing global customer base and expand quickly into the North American market, the statement says.

Founded in 1997, Raven Engineering is a total balance, press, gauging and driveline solution provider. The company offers balance equipment and services, C&M servo presses and centering devices, measurement/gauging equipment from handheld tools to fully automatic in-line machines, custom driveshafts, NVH testing and complete vehicle balancing.

C&M, founded in 2000, specializes in automatic assembly and press-fitting systems. The company provides customers with an optimized automation system for assembly and insertion automation.
