WardsAuto Wins National Awards

WardsAuto has won 95 national and regional ASBPE awards since 1991, across a wide array of categories.

WardsAuto digital and print publications recently were recognized by the American Society of Business Press Editors for editorial and design excellence in four categories.

WardsAuto.com is lauded as the best paid-subscriber website, winning a national gold “Azbee” award in the category.

“Creating high-quality content that readers are willing to pay for is crucial to the future success of all media organizations, so being rated the best of the best in this hotly contested category is especially gratifying,” says WardsAuto.com Editorial Director David Zoia.

WardsAuto World magazine editor Drew Winter won a national gold award in the Web Commentary category for an online opinion piece titled “Why Innovation is Dying in America.”

WardsAuto Dealer Business magazine Editor Steve Finlay won a national silver award in the Editor’s Letter category for a commentary titled “Is it Illegal to Sell F&I stuff?”

Susan Bamford, Art-Director-magazines, won a silver award in ASBPE’s Midwest-South region for her opening spread design in digital and print versions of WardsAuto Dealer Business titled “To the Rescue.”

WardsAuto has won 95 national and regional ASBPE awards since 1991, across an array of categories including Premium Website, Editorial, Internet News Story, Technical Article, Subscriber Database, Column Writing, and many more.

The Azbees are awarded annually by the American Society of Business Publication Editors, now known simply as ASBPE. Founded in 1964, the group is a professional association for full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors, and designers employed in the business, trade, and specialty press. The ASPBE’s Azbee editorial awards recognize the best in editorial, design, and online achievement.
