Mazda Carries Away Most-Engaging Auto Ad Honors

Ads for the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and Hyundai Elantra trailed the top two spots, both held by Mazda.

A Mazda commercial titled “Carried Away” holds onto its No. 1 position in the weekly Most Engaging Auto Ads rankings, powered for WardsAuto by iSpot.tv.

A second Mazda ad, “Driving Matters: Passenger,” moves up a slot from No.3 last week to No.2 this week. And a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid spot starring actor James Marsden moves up from fourth place to third, boosted by 4,139 airings so far – a gain of 308 airings in a week.

A Hyundai Elantra ad starring Ryan Reynolds that debuted in the Super Bowl returns to the list in the No.4 spot. Hyundai’s been giving it fresh exposure, including airings during NBA Basketball, to capitalize on the “Deadpool” star’s rising popularity.

Finally, a Chrysler Pacifica commercial starring Jim Gaffigan takes the No.5 spot for the second week in a row.
