Chevrolet Again Sits Atop Most-Seen Auto Ad Ranking

The No.1 commercial for the week of March 26-April 1 is Chevrolet’s upbeat ad about how more people are purchasing the brand’s vehicles for the first time.

For the second week in a row Chevrolet leads iSpot.tv’s ranking of the most-viewed automotive commercials – the ads that have racked up the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.

The No.1 commercial for the week of March 26-April 1 is Chevrolet’s upbeat ad about how more people are purchasing the brand’s vehicles for the first time. “With special deals on models including the ’18 Malibu, now is a great time to try a new Chevy,” the company says.

At No. 2 is a 15-second spot from Nissan promoting its “Now Sales Event” during which customers can score savings on Sentra and Altima models with automatic emergency braking.

Mitsubishi treats viewers to a mini-classical concert with its third-place commercial that mixes piano, strings and action shots of the ’18 Eclipse Cross, while Jeep’s No. 4 ad promotes the ’19 Cherokee with stunning landscape views.

Hyundai rounds out the chart with a spot highlighting special features of its models including premium touchscreen sound systems and wireless charging. This ad also had the best iSpot Attention Index (113) in the ranking, getting 13% fewer interruptions than the average auto ad (interruptions include changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
